\u00a0This precocious group of students designed, built, and tested their very own Bob.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/carthe.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Screen-Shot-2015-05-21-at-3.53.44-PM.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter wp-image-357 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/carthe.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Screen-Shot-2015-05-21-at-3.53.44-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2015-05-21 at 3.53.44 PM\" width=\"555\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"http:\/\/carthe.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Screen-Shot-2015-05-21-at-3.53.44-PM.png 555w, http:\/\/carthe.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Screen-Shot-2015-05-21-at-3.53.44-PM-300x137.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 555px) 100vw, 555px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They made videos, comics, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/popplet.com\/app\/#\/2498946\">Popplet<\/a> to synthesize all they had learned. \u00a0When they contacted us for feedback we were blown away by their professionalism and passion. \u00a0CARTHE Outreach Manager Laura Bracken had the honor of Skyping with them to share information about our research and thoughts on how they could improve their design. \u00a0They asked great questions about what materials to use (something biodegradable\u00a0that won&#8217;t sink too fast), how we power our GPS units (batteries), and\u00a0do we record data day and night (yes).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"img-responsive wp-image-361 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/carthe.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_0463-e1432238481960-300x197.png\" alt=\"IMG_0463\" width=\"300\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These budding scientists also realize that science communication is important\u00a0and wanted to share what they had learned with others!
