CARTHE participated in a regional HAZMAT spill tabletop exercise, contributing information on the local currents and how the spill might move based on the environmental conditions. We are always preparing for potential spills.

The other participants included local, state, and federal emergency responders, scientists, and communications personnel.  The group will come together later this year to conduct a full scale fuel spill exercise.
